Máster en Práctica Escénica y Cultura Visual (Universidad de Castilla – La Mancha y MNCARS, España). Licenciado en Ciencias de la Comunicación (Universidad de la República, Uruguay)

Artista enfocado en el cruce de disciplinas y en la investigación de los límites entre las artes vivas y la imagen en movimiento. Sus prácticas giran en torno a la idea de una escucha radical y sus potencias políticas.

Desde 2012 trabaja junto a Magdalena Leite. En 2023 es beneficiario del FEFCA, Beca Justino Zavala Muniz Danza categoría +10 años de trayectoria, Montevideo, Uruguay. En 2022 su pieza LEVIATHAN es seleccionada para el 60ª Premio Nacional de Artes Visuales Gladys Afamado, Montevideo, Uruguay. En 2020 es seleccionado para participar en la Venice International Performance Art Week 2020 en la ciudad de Venecia, Italia. En 2018 Y 2019 es comisario invitado de las Picnic Sessions en el CA2M en Madrid, España. En junio de 2018 crea la pieza de video instalación “Pintada, no vacía” en residencia en el Espacio de Arte Contemporáneo EAC en Montevideo, Uruguay. Al día de hoy lleva junto a Magdalena Leite una columna de escritura performática en la página Intervalo de la librería Escaramuza, editada por Rosario Lázaro Igoa (UY)

Con sus piezas de video ha participado en festivales como el Festival Internacional Proceso de Error, Valparaíso, Chile (2019), MUTA Festival Internacional de Apropiación, Perú (2018), el Festival Internacional Ultracinema de México (2017), el Festival Creative Commons de la Ciudad de México (2013 y 2014) y en el 11ème Festival des Cinémas Différents en París, Francia (2009).

En danza es coautor de las obras: La Máquina del tiempo, realizada con el apoyo del FEFCA (2022), Literal y otros susurros de la montaña, presentada en GEN, Centro de Artes y Ciencia, Montevideo, Uruguay (2021), FANTASMATA & LEVIATHAN, presentada en GEN, Centro de Artes y Ciencia, Montevideo, Uruguay (2020); SÉ AGUA, presentada en la Venice International Performance Art Week, Palazzo Mora, Venecia, Italia (2020); FLICKER, creada en la residencia de La Casa Encendida y el CA2M, Madrid, España (2017); VIDEOCLIP, realizada en el marco del Máster en Práctica Escénica y Cultura Visual, Madrid (2015-2016); VIDEOCLIP: Una Etnología coreográfica, realizada en el CCE Mvd con el apoyo de Iberescena en Montevideo, Uruguay (2014) y DANCE DANCE DANCE, creada con el apoyo de Eprodanza y estrenada en el MUAC en el marco del proyecto ARRECIFE del Colectivo AM , Ciudad de México, México (2013).

Artist focused on the crossing of disciplines and on the investigation of the limits between the living arts and the moving image. His practices revolve around the idea of radical listening and its political powers.

Since 2012 he has been working with Magdalena Leite. In 2023 he is a beneficiary of the FEFCA, Justino Zavala Muniz Dance Scholarship category +10 years of experience, Montevideo, Uruguay. In 2022 his piece LEVIATHAN is selected for the 60th Gladys Afamado National Visual Arts Award, Montevideo, Uruguay. In 2020 he is selected to participate in the Venice International Performance Art Week 2020 in the city of Venice, Italy. In 2018 and 2019 he is the guest curator of the Picnic Sessions at CA2M in Madrid, Spain. In June 2018 he created the video installation piece «Painted, not empty» in residence at the EAC Contemporary Art Space in Montevideo, Uruguay. To this day, together with Magdalena Leite, he leads a performance writing column on the Intervalo page of the Escaramuza bookstore, edited by Rosario Lázaro Igoa (UY).

With his video pieces, he has participated in festivals such as the International Festival of Error Process, Valparaíso, Chile (2019), MUTA International Festival of Appropriation, Peru (2018), the Ultracinema International Festival of Mexico (2017), the Creative Commons Festival of Mexico City (2013 and 2014) and at the 11th Festival des Cinémas Différents in Paris, France (2009).

In dance he is co-author of the works: La Máquina del tiempo, made with the support of FEFCA (2022), Literal y otros susurros de la montaña, presented at GEN, Centro de Artes y Ciencia, Montevideo, Uruguay (2021), FANTASMATA & LEVIATHAN, presented at GEN, Center for Arts and Science, Montevideo, Uruguay (2020); BE WATER, presented at the Venice International Performance Art Week, Palazzo Mora, Venice, Italy (2020); FLICKER, created in the residence of La Casa Encendida and CA2M, Madrid, Spain (2017); VIDEOCLIP, carried out within the framework of the Master’s Degree in Performing Arts Practice and Visual Culture, Madrid (2015-2016); VIDEO CLIP: A Choreographic Ethnology, performed at the CCE Mvd with the support of Iberescena in Montevideo, Uruguay (2014) and DANCE DANCE DANCE, created with the support of Eprodanza and premiered at the MUAC within the framework of the ARRECIFE project of the AM Collective, Ciudad from Mexico, Mexico (2013).
